The Story
When one door closes another door opens. Laid off from her job of 19 years, Michelle and her husband realized it was time to fulfill her life-long dream of owning her own hair studio. Michelle searched extensively for the perfect downtown Hampton location and had almost abandoned hope when she discovered 471 Lafayette Road. With the perfect layout for their vision, Michelle put her creativity to work and with her husband's carpentry skills, this ideal location began its transformation into what is now Studio 471.
